Who We Are
JC Stroble Glaucoma Awareness Foundation
The Foundation was created to honor the legacy of JC Stroble, a beloved figure in the Spartanburg community whose personal journey with blindness inspired a mission: to ensure that families receive the vision education and early detection opportunities he did not.
We are dedicated to increasing awareness of glaucoma—an often silent, preventable cause of blindness—and ensuring that those at risk have access to the screenings and information they need.

Our mission is to educate, empower, and support communities through glaucoma awareness, free vision screenings, and partnerships that expand access to eye care.
Our Inspiration
Jekeithlyn Stroble Ross – Founder & Director
Driven by her father's story and moved by the impact of preventable vision loss in the community, Jekeithlyn established the Foundation to help families understand glaucoma, its symptoms, and the importance of early detection. She works closely with local partners, schools, churches, and health organizations to bring essential resources directly into the community.

Our Vision
Our vision is to create a world where preventable blindness and vision impairment are eliminated. We strive to achieve this by collaborating with healthcare professionals, organizations, and government entities to implement sustainable eye care programs, conduct research to advance the field of ophthalmology, and educate the public about the significance of preserving eye health.
